Nice place to eat pancakes. Nice entourage, versatile menu and you can also get Flammkuchen. Staff speak Dutch and German (and probably also English) in short, nice outing

Very unfriendly service, we were there spontaneously and asked if we could sit down at a free table and the only answer we received was no. Then it was said we could have the table in the corner. After we sat down the waitress disappeared and never came back. Mind you, only 3 tables were occupied, the rest were reserved and the waitress wasn't at any of the tables. We then went somewhere else and were served very friendly and quickly.

Nice restaurant where you can eat delicious pancakes according to Holländische Art. Friendly service. Service fine too. The white wine was lukewarm. Reported this. The refrigerator had failed. Cold wine was taken from the hotel and served out.

We have waited 20 minutes until someone came to take drinks. Then we waited almost an hour for the food. (and that in the Corona period when there wasn't much going on)

Wanted to eat there today at 6 p.m. Unfortunately we were sent away when we said we hadn't made a reservation. There would be no free table, although almost all tables were empty. At 7:15 p.m. the pancake house was still relatively empty. There was nothing of a reservation requirement. I cannot understand and therefore not recommend it.

Unfortunately not worth the price. A crepe at the fair offers more. You should apply Nutella yourself (from a small package). Too bad. Staff is nice.

Good food and good service. All in all a very nice place to have some food if you are craving traditional Dutch "pannenkoeken"! 😊

Delicious food.. a bit expensive

A really nice atmosphere with very friendly and courteous staff. The ordered drinks and pancakes were served in no time. The selection of various pancakes, whether sweet or savory, is very generous, so that there should be something for every taste.

Not everything from the map was possible. And that in the high season. Staff still had to undergo training. Pouring wine from a carafe was very difficult. Part of it flies by ........ and we just leave it that way

Bad experience had to wait an hour and a half for a pancake. And this one was mediocre too. We advise against it, we will not go there anymore.

Fine pancakes very tasty also gluten free but if you have to be gluten free you can not get dessert after the food, Update: I did not know of course that there was confusion among the colleagues, unfortunately our holiday is over today and are back in the Netherlands, but will definitely return to the hotel and pancake house in the future

We waited for 3 pancakes for almost an hour. It's Saturday, but noon and hardly anything is going on. The pancakes were delicious and the ambience was nice (we sat in the back garden), but the waiting time was disproportionate. Too bad.

Tonight at this cozy and clean pancake house eaten. The service was fast and very friendly. The pancakes were delicious !! We would love to come back!

Of the 4 evenings eating out in Winterberg, we went 1x to the 'Dutch' Der Brabander. Unfortunately we found this restaurant a disappointment compared to the visited German restaurants. The restaurant did not look clean, the toilets were downright dirty and not facilitated (soap + paper were used up), the service was rather in a hurry and therefore came across as inhospitable and we found the pancakes to be moderate compared to what we are used to from the Dutch pancake houses. We may have just hit the wrong time, but based on this experience, we advise tourists in Winterberg to visit the German catering industry and skip this Dutch pancake house.

For the Dutch it is like you are 'back home'. For children it is a very nice place

The first and certainly not the last time I was there to eat. So delicious and new in taste. Sweet and hearty the pancakes. Super friendly service. Any time

HORRIBLE, WORST SERVICE Ive ever had. It was 6pm, we wanted to have dinner. When We came in, they didn't even say hello so 0 manners. They said they do not have a table for us. This was ridiculous as I saw there was a free table in the back of the restaurant as people were leaving. So I went to the back of the restaurant took a picture of the free table and told them again, that there was a free table. they kept denying it, saying all the restaurant was full and they couldn't give us dinner, so I showed them a picture of the free table of the back of the restaurant and the lady started to put excuses that they had to clean bla bla. Basically they didn't want us to give us the table, she didn't know what to say so she left to the kitchen and left us there. She was rude and incompetent DO NOT come here, they dont deserve your money, you have nice service in other restaurants in the same street.

Great Dutch pancakes

Very good service.

Place itself is nice, food is average. Service is okay. Nothing seriously wrong. Pancakes are rather thin and with a conservative amount of toppings. Basically what you would edited from a good Italian pizza. Sadly it works a lot better for pizza than it does for pancakes.
